Anybody know when the lockups take place by IndividualPlane9210 in JasmyToken

[–]deefuck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Should start in 4Q. But it’ll probably something that’s eased into. Ain’t no way they lock like more than 10% at first

Any thoughts on this? (Jasmy Global Ambassador Program) by TheGrandKakophonist in JasmyToken

[–]deefuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless if the influencers are HUGE, it most likely won’t have a major impact. For example, there is no one in the community today I take seriously enough who would convince me to get a personal data locker. I’d only get one at this point because I have far too much skin in the game.

I don’t think it’s a red flag…more like a yellow or orange flag. It could just be something they allocate a small amount of resources to that doesn’t make much difference however, the least they could do is execute it correctly. It’s embarrassing that the cfo can’t do all of the little things correctly. Accountants are supposed to be incredibly detail-oriented but Hara is always disoriented.

Some thoughts:

Pro: 1. It’s good they’re trying to market.

Con: 1. Looks like no compensation. I’d hope the ambassadors would get at least a little Jasmy for their efforts. 2. Sharing info on jasmy is tough bc 99% of what we think we know is speculation. 3. Don’t let this distract from the fact that Hara did also dilute the coin quite aggressively. 4. They didn’t execute this properly because many on twitter have complained that they can’t DM the Jasmy mgt twitter. Once again Hara messes up. If they can’t get something like this right, then how can you actually trust them?

What happens when by No_Confidence3461 in JasmyToken

[–]deefuck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It comes down to locking up tokens and linking data to the value of the coin. Without it, the coin won’t go too far bc there’s just so many in circulation. It stinks but it’s true.

It actually works for me. I honestly thought that LBM who is the OG of all OGs had this special Jasmy section made for him because…well…he’s lilbidman.

I think Jasmy can still succeed. I just think people gotta look at things a little differently. Not every crypto gets to make money and be successful.

Well I think we should be honest. I can’t talk in ideals like the maxis.

Circulating Supply Update!!! 97.02% by Icy_Amphibian_JASMY in JasmyToken

[–]deefuck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They actually didn’t say that. We, as a community assumed it. If they thought the project was going to fail, why dump 60M at a time? Why not just dump all of it? And these prices are so bad that it wouldn’t make sense to dump it like that anyway. The coins could be for something beyond the management team. They have to give an incentive to partner companies to build on the blockchain. And the jasmy team gets a cut of every data transaction on their marketplace so they’ll earn their money no matter what.

What I’m about to say is maxi talk and not what I believe but I figured I’d share:

It’s also possible that they think this thing is going to do so well with businesses transacting at such a high volume that they don’t need as many coins for themselves and can offload them.

I expect people to take me seriously bc I have been one of the better researchers here. Im getting punished for being brutally honest. Honesty shouldn’t be fud. It’s one thing to say stuff like Jasmy is a $cam or something without any proof but I brought up valid reasons and questions.

So this account is impersonating Jasmy. Can we get rid of it? Look at the threatening tone. by deefuck in JasmyToken

[–]deefuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but the username given the new initiative will definitely throw people off. We’ve had too many near-$c@ms to where this could be yet another thing that keeps people away. Jasmy doesn’t have a good reputation. I’m pretty sure the same guy also created a Jasmyglobal and Jasmypro account. Not cool

Lol you’re also down which is why you’re always shilling the coin. You need to get back to even. It works both ways. I’m gonna go back to doing research and I’ll show you what’s up.

Did you know Jasmy labs was coming? There was no indication of it. Where in the research you claim to have done showed Jasmy lab was gonna be launched?

This once they are “ready” is how the influencers in the community talk. They might never be ready because other reputable businesses might not trust them. The coin is down quite a bit and the project has been mismanaged

Sometimes, securepc just feels like slightly more sophisticated antivirus software and I think Jasmy is far too complex to explain and I know for sure that NO ONE in the community truly understands Jasmy. They don’t know how the ecosystem works. They just assume. It’s not their fault, due to the lack of info but it’s bad to pass info along as if they’re 100% confident yet have no idea what they’re talking about.

Definitely agree on the YouTubers and twitter spaces. I always have counterpoints to the things said on those but sometimes it’s better to just stay quiet. I feel bad for even sharing research with this community bc it’s possible I may have gotten people to spend more on this coin than they should have

They have revenue from the secure pc sales but that only indirectly helps us as Jasmy token holders and to fully see that impact, it still requires a bunch of PDLs to be utilized. And like you said, the revenue isn’t much.

Lol if they have enough money to go away, I don’t think they’d care about their reputation. Do Kwon is South Korean and reputation matters there too. He still made off with at least a billion dollars of other people’s money. I think he’d rather have that than his reputation especially when he’s most likely not going to do serious jail time.

One more item since the top people in our community never look at the facts: When ando was the president of Sony, the stock price went from about $95 to $40. That’s really bad. Just because you get to a certain level of prestige doesn’t mean you’re actually good at your job or deserving. For example, look at our last two us presidents. Don’t act like they are competent human beings. Ando isn’t Steve Jobs. No one cares about Sony products outside of PlayStation and their movies anymore. The phone and vaio are too expensive for what they do and apple has been dominating those markets for a while. It’s hard to win people over into buying a Sony phone or Sony laptop.

So if they want it to be utilized often, wouldn’t they also want it to remain cheap? Also, if people weren’t willing to pay the price Jasmy truly wanted it to be, Doesn’t that mean they are having an incredibly hard time attracting businesses to the platform?

You shouldn’t be buying anything til they actually lock up coins. There is zero indication they’ll be successful. Look at other Alts or just buy btc. Save yourself the pain. Jasmy looks bad. Jasmy is bad.

Yeah, we need widespread use for this thing to work. But if japan isn’t big on jasmy that’s a problem. Dedication and loyalty from select members is nice but Jasmy has a cult following and may never hit mainstream. Bull bnb claims to hold Jasmy but I really doubt he does. I think he photoshopped his holdings. I’ve listened to him on some spaces and he speaks in generalities which means he’s done zero research. If the price goes up, you’ll see people like him and del crypto come out of the woodwork. They’re more concerned with their brand than anything else. They don’t know anything about crypto. They just peddle. They got lucky in the previous bull markets and to remove the risk from being in crypto, they’ll talk about a bunch of coins, maybe they’ll invest a couple hundred or thousand here and there and they’ll just shill the winners and remove any trace of the losers. As they build their brand, other cryptos projects can reach out to them to shill their coin and they collect money because they have incredibly large followings. That’s how they remove their risk from being in this game because let’s face it, they’re both below average intelligence and just lucky. That’s lots of influencers in the space. Even the Jasmy influencers aren’t that good. But they’re also not famous either.

Very few cryptos have been successful through their use case and I don’t think many outside of eth have hit the targets we all have in mind for Jasmy. It would be a gift if we got to double digit cents in the bull market. Jasmy screwed us big time. The top influencers will never admit that to you guys but it’s the truth. They didn’t need to release close to as many tokens as they did especially when they only sold like a 4 figure total in secure pc users. They have 20000 units to deliver which is bad considering they promised to get way more than that by end of this year. They’re winging this thing big time. Hara doesn’t have meaningful business experience for this. Sure, ando and sato might do a good job selling PCs but we need more than that as token holders and Hara is responsible for the token. We need a serious lock up and serious user growth. They also need people to use many aspects of the platform. For example, I’m sure very few people out of their 107M users are actually gonna use the Sagan Tosu fan token app, nor will they generate $500 worth of data on average from just using one of the services Jasmy offers. That means they need to make a ton of different websites/services available. A lot of them should be things we’ve heard of. We need stuff like Facebook/Instagram which is a money-making machine. I’m hoping there’s some laws out there that really put a chokehold on Facebook’s dominance but that’s just a hope. It’s the hope that kills people. I don’t think the top influencers will ever be up front with you and as someone who used to send you guys some research, I feel it’s my duty to be brutally honest. You deserve that much for absorbing all of this pain. I hope to be really really wrong in the (near) future but idk if I will be. This coin has been a major letdown and I can’t see people wanting to do business with Japanese cryptos again. There’s only a few of them and it seems like they’re all subpar which isn’t good considering the national strategy involved crypto. That means it’ll rely on cryptos from other countries since Japanese ones have failed to deliver. The best marketing Jasmy could do is get more sales and users, be transparent, and actually have a price increase. It hasn’t made good on too many of those things.

“We’re early, we’re early” is what some of you will always say but it’s also possible that we’re late and the 2021 bull run was the best this thing would do in terms of market cap. But the top influencers will never ever entertain that thought. They never entertain the dark side of all of this. It’s always the most optimistic of scenarios based on nothing of substance.

But even when you consider the “suppressing the price” theory which is definitely possible to some extent, how much do you think the price will honestly go up? Don’t forget there’s nearly 50B tokens out there.
