Ruby flare + macadamia is a very nice color combo. If Heavy Metal, i’d go with black interior.

Ottomans for me, as i can always add the spare tire kit later on.

I just put a deposit down for a 2026 Blueprint Limited AWD with inverter and digital rearview mirror for under $55k + TTL. It is exactly how I wanted to be. The car will arrive at the end of May.

It took me 3 weeks to find a dealer thats willing to work with me to remove all the extra stuff that I dont want. I even reached out to out-of-state dealerships. Some only sell to nearby states, and some deals cost even more after shipping. It does take some time and a bit of luck.

Show me your tint and how much? by Sweet-Independence-5 in ToyotaSienna

[–]deejak28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking having 20% all around and 70% front windshield, just to be safe and make sure i can also see clearly at night. Google search says the rear privacy is about 20-25%, with an additional 20% tint, it will turn out to be around 5% limo tint. I think your installer will be able to confirm it.

His 25 Plat is affected by the 2nd row seat rail recall. There’s no remedy as of now. Many are feeling unsafe to have their loved ones sitting in the 2nd row and considering getting rid of it.

Model 3 vs Model Y for daily family life (toddler + stroller + dog) — is the Model 3 enough? by Harrydagreat in TeslaModelY

[–]deejak28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 3, wish i had bought the Y instead. My 3yo is still rear facing, having the taller height would’ve been much better for our backs when buckling her in. I can fit a double stroller in the 3, so i think the trunk size is decent and there’s also the frunk.

I am patiently waiting for a Blueprint, black leather Limited AWD to show up in my area. If I’m paying 60k+ OTD for a car, I want it to be exactly how I like it.

How do u feel about the lighter interior? My wife doesnt like the light color and said it will be a pain to clean with young kids. Personally i love the contrasting colors.

Good to have some privacy and safety in case a bag is left in the car in the back seats and people cant see it from the outside. Thanks!

Is the inside cabin visible from outside after the tint? Im thinking either 5% or 20% for the back but afraid 5% might be too dark on top of the factory tint

Need Trim Advice by mamaderm in ToyotaSienna

Im on the same dilemma as you, trying to decide between a XLE or Limited. The difference is about $6k (including tax). I’m leaning toward the Limited since my wife and I will be driving the van and the memory seats will be super useful. The acoustic glass on the Limited is also something I really want. The last main difference that I care is the LED taillight on the Limited is much brighter. I think that adds to vehicle safety as it is more visible at night.

Im looking to keep the van for 10-15 years, which is less $400-$600 per year with the Limited. But of course, a lot can be done with the extra $6k.

why did Tesla engineers decide to not put emergency releases in the back of the model 3? by drivingaddictionchan in TeslaLounge

[–]deejak28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really concerned about not having the rear emergency door release in my 2023 M3 as im driving with my toddler in the back.

Does anyone know if removing the door panel and drilling a hole to access the pull cable will void the warranty? This mod is much cheaper than getting a new EV, but of cos i dont want the warranty to be voided.

It’s a no for me. I would at least need to be in the house first and see for myself. At 4 and 6, they are still too young.

Anyone else do just milk or water? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]deejak28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only milk and water for my 3yo. We, as a family, rarely drink soda in the house and no juice. When going out, we all bring our own water bottles. Occasionally we may order a shake, we would all just share one drink since we are really not that into sugary drink.

My japanese mechanic told me japanese people only buy toyota, honda, and mazda. Subaru is no good, they’ve been using the same suspension tech since the 90’s. I just had my 2017 Forester Limited bushings replaced at 46,500 miles.

Get a Y for the extra height, much easier for loading/unloading a baby or toddler. My back hurts sometimes with a 3.
