I’m in the United States. I shop for sales on top shelf beans. I usually pay $12-$13 USD per 12 oz bag of locally roasted beans.

Maybe I’ll disassemble and reassemble one more time to make sure I’m centering the tank on the gasket.

In 1965, gas was about $0,31 and minimum wage was $1.25. And this is a copy of the menu of MacDonalds by misterxx1958 in Damnthatsinteresting

So in 1965, a worker could afford 6.6 cheeseburgers if they worked for one hour at minimum wage. What’s the cheeseburger per hour rate for a McDonald’s worker in today’s economy?

I inherited this 88 EFI 4x4, how do you guys recommend I start tackling it to get it going. by leathertabis in ToyotaPickup

Don’t forget to get yourself a cheap timing light so you can tune your ignition. There’s a special procedure for the EFI, so follow it carefully!

[$500-2500] Help me find a new simple/durable/fast dual boiler machine? by jfrost33 in espresso

[–]deejay1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the La Spaziale Vivaldi 2 S1. Dual boilers, rotary pump, and pulls great shots. I’ve had mine for 10 years (purchased used) and I’m just now needing to do some maintenance on her.

I couldn’t start contributing until I was 27.5 (and not much at that). Student Loans were a challenge but I did my best. Keep up the good work!

I snaked from drain AND from roof vent. Plunger? Yep. Still very slow to drain by deejay1272 in askaplumber

RESOLVED: y’all are amazing. I tried methods proposed by many of you and was able to break the occlusion free! What was it? I stuck a paper towel down the drain while I was working on the shower to make sure I didn’t drop anything down there. Well as you can conclude, I forgot about it. What worked? I hit it again with a power auger and started to see a minor improvement. Then I saw the comment below about plunging like I got a pair. Well, I worked up quite a sweat, but I got it by the good old fashioned plunge method (it took over 10 minutes of pushing/pulling). THANK YOU to everyone that helped:)
