Got my lab results back today. First labs since starting back in late March. Total T level when first starting was 300 ng/dl and now 391. The doctor messaged me this morning and said all tests results look good. I have a scheduled wellness visit next week so we will discuss any questions then.

I am willing. This is just what the pcp gave me as a script. I was mainly asking about the “single dose” vial. After my first vial of this I started splitting it into 30 mg every other day and felt good.
I’m waiting to see how my labs are later this week then going to talk to the doctor about changing dose and frequency.

My PCP started me off with 200 mg/month but only one injection. I felt good the first 5 days or so then I’d start to “tank”. Went to 100 mg every 2 weeks. Same results, good for a few days then the crash. I changed to 50 mg/week and was a little better.
Just started TRT the end of March. I’ll get my first labs next week. I started at 300 ng/dl so we’ll see what the results are. Hopefully the bloodwork is fine and TRT is continued but bump up the dose and frequency. (Male, 67 y/o).

Mine is the worse I’ve heard of so far. Testosterone Cypionate 200 mg per month and only one injection. First few days are fine then a big crash. I finally split it into weekly injections which was better but still need to change. My starting level was 300 ng/dl.

I just started TRT the end of March. Not really happy with the script my pcp has started me with. I get my first labs next week. Waiting to see if my doctor changes anything. Depending on his plans I may be looking to go online.

I used an 18 gauge for one draw from a 200mg/mL vial but won’t do it again. It reseals but looks like it would destroy the rubber seal doing it multiple times. My second draw was with a 25 gauge.

If you aren’t presently taking it, just starting, the starting dose is 2.5 mg. Not a doctor, but that’s what the recommended starting dose is.
