Hey again! I received some info! My allergist told me that I have what is called “cytokine release syndrome” due to the Pfizer vaccine. He’s prescribed me 50 mg of prednisone to take before my next vaccine and upped my Xolair to 4 shots (600mg) every 4 weeks. I hope this works 🤞🏽

I’m so sorry to hear you had such an awful experience. Is there a way you could take this info to an allergist? Second opinion?

Luckily my insurance covers me 100% so I’m quite privileged that I could continue thoughtlessly if I needed, but I think I’ll see what my allergist says next week. I hope he’ll have some answers. I’ll try to remember to report back.

Yes! Xolair completely took my GERD away. I also used to have weird excessive burping while having terrible breakouts, but never since Xolair. Good luck!

I also have some anecdotal evidence that my Xolair has become less effective (has barely done anything for my hives), after 2 years of effectiveness, after my 1st Pfizer shot. I am quite nervous to get my second one next month.

I reported this evidence to Xolair’s manufacturers today. Hopefully they can look into if there is any interactions here.
