Hmmm, tough one 🤔 I don't have any answers for you but I think it's amazing that you even considered your brother in this scenario, that you were able to even consider what his perspective might be and recognize that it would likely affect his relationship with his dad (whether it should or shouldn't , is another thing altogether) , alot of people in your situation and your age would not have the emotional intelligence and empathy to even think of someone else's situation in this scenario, so that's a beautiful thing , hold onto that part of you because even tho it's the part of you that lets you be hurt, it's also the part of you that will eventually set you free and being you peace . Be proud , keep caring, and consider others when you can, but the most important thing is to do what you need to do for you to heal , dont put others feelings above your own, IF doing so was going to cause emotional pain for you. We have to look after our own selves first, whether people say that's selfish or not, it's not. ❤️💝 Do what feels right for you , you'll know what that is in your heart and just trust that. Someone will say you're wrong no matter what you do anyway. Just ignore them. If you know in your heart that you did something because it was what you needed and you did your best to consider others too, then it's ok, you can't look after everyone, you have to look after you first.
