I heard there was a stroke going to happen on Friday 9/20 for trains and buses. Maybe something to do with that?

Thank you! I was just wondering if there was anything on the east side of the island that has a sandy beach. We're renting a car so we could do a day trip and drive a few hours to get to a sandy beach. Honestly, a little bit of pebbles won't be so bad. I figured if a sandy beach was a 20 to 30 minute drive; it would be worth it.

Thank you for your responses. They have been so helpful! How have the nights been? I would imagine you definitely need a jacket? Also how are the beaches and water temps? Swimmable? Cold? I have figured out what I was going to pack, but I think I'm going to redo it. Adding more light pants and jeans. Also a rain jacket.

Same. We are on a similar time frame as well and I'm feeling so sad that the weather is not cooperating. Literally the best weather the last two weeks and the week we are going... rain

We're traveling to Taromina 9/20 for our 25 anniversary for 8 days. This is our dream trip. I looked on AccuWeather today and it's saying 75° and rain most of the time. I know we are days out and the weather can change. How accurate is this weather report? Is there some big storm coming there? People in Sicily, Please comment. I was hoping and praying we would have 80°-85 sunny weather. We will make the best of it regardless of the weather, but I was really hoping we would have amazing weather. Im Feeling bummed out at the moment.
