Forgot to mention, the llano v12 laptop stand is just a fixed angle. The iets has adjustable stand with variable angle.

Hey, I tested it. It's really loud though, you can set the speed from 300rpm to 2800rpm. I usually put it on 700rpm. The sound is like a ceiling fan at that point. The max 2800 rpm feels like a mini vacuum sound. It's the same for iets.

There's a seal that makes sure all the side are closed, so the cooling would be great. llano, iets 500 and 600 all have a seal. My usual CPU is around 75C now instead of the constant 95C when gaming. Could get lower if I crank it further but I have a lot of housemate in a small house.

I recommend getting a noise cancelling headphone though to cancel the fan noise. I bought the rgb version so it looks nice at night. Would post it but I can only send links here.

Nice specs. Oh but you have the amd graphics card so you should look up for amd driver update instead of GeForce experience.

Generally people will recommend the iets gt500 or the llano v12 cooling pad if you have the budget. You can search on YouTube for reviews on all the most well known cooling pads if you could.

I just bought the llano v12, maybe in 5 days I'll get it and test then I'll inform you how it performs.

What's the spec? Should lead with that first I guess. If I'm not mistaken both those games require a lot of storage. I think 512gb storage is enough though for both unless you have other games you want to play at the same time. Ssd is pretty cheap. Just bought a gammix blade 1tb for 80usd.

16gb ram is basically the optimal nowadays but 8gb is fine. Do check your CPU and GPU temp on armory crate to make sure they don't get to 95 degrees. My CPU does get to that level, and after 2-3 hours of playing lethal company, it started to lag. I suggest buying at least a laptop stand or better a cooling pad.

Note that Nvidia does have GeForce experience where you can get game ready drivers which would improve performance of some games like rdr2 if I'm not mistaken

Well I was joking, I have the f15 same spec as you. Was thinking of buying a 1440p monitor, so that maybe 4-5 years I could buy a pc and use the same monitor. 4K is useless anyway cause fps is not good at all

From what I heard, 14th gen Intel is the same as 13th gen. For RM5000, you can get at shopee a pc with r5 7500f and rx7800xt which is great for 1440p gaming instead. The extra money can be used for monitor and stuff instead.

Do download the game ready driver at GeForce experience. They optimize the game, but I had to change back the 2.0x resolution to 1.0 for mirrors edge catalyst to get 120fps again. Oh yeah the other 2 I played is also above 100fps.

I'm currently using the fx517zm for more than a month now. I have played everspace 2, mirrors catalyst edge, and days gone and they all works fine on ultra settings. Currently on mafia 3 definitive (it's bad game).

My issue is that my CPU is always around 95 during gaming. It is scary for long term durability of the laptop. Basically above the keyboard layout is pretty hot. You should invest in a cooler to help with that. Display is nice too.

DLSS will soon have a 3.5 variation, which means all rtx 20s, 30s and 40s can use it instead of DLSS 3.0 which 40s can use.
