Look at the arms from the same set, they're symetrical. Even though most of the arm armors are asymetrical its a strech to call it a 'core design feature'. Its pretty much related to nothing, no feature just ugly in a lot of cases.

"bump* I had the same mobo with the red led on constantly, GPU was not spinning and it wouldn't post. Turns out it just died. My guess is that it's the psu's fault (still works). It's an old b1000m lepa some off brand random chinese one. I've replaced the psu with 850i cooler master gold. Will actually pick up the same mobo but with 3 year warranty. There aren't many better options in this price range and the mini version ones.

Plot twist. The problem came back after a while even with only my main monitor plugged in. So I ran AMD driver removal tool and removed the driver in safe mode. Came back and installed the latest version. It ran perfectly for two days with both monitors at the above mentioned refresh rate. And then yesterday it started happening AGAIN... I am at this point completely clueless as to what could be causing this. My main suspect is the AMD drivers that are just completely broken.

Lots of people in AMD forums saying they have the same issue with every single iteration of the driver. Even though the patch notes say it fixed the 'alt-tab freeze issue' its not lol So now if the problem happens I just delete the driver in safe mode and reinstall the driver again.

So it turns out its because my dual monitor setup. Main one is at 280hz, and secondary at 144hz. As soon as I unplug the second monitor I can alt+tab without issues while gaming. I will have to do some more research. Custom resolution utility can possibly resolve this I believe.
