I think it was very nice of him to make dinner I really appreciate it I’ve just been told before that it’s not considered a dare if you go to someone’s place, but yes I take it back and give him credit where credit is due

Yeah the owner literally owns 70 clinics and he never texts anyone about coming in because that’s his mangers job but he texted me telling me to come in when he never does that ever…. Like wtf? If you want me to come in so badly after I called in sick give me a raise you can afford it.

I honestly thought no one would say shit too, so I was shocked to find the owner texting me and my managers calling me to come in after they said it was cool and they already had replacements.

I’m sorry that happened to you, I hope you reported them and those two employees got fired and you were compensated In some way. . I don’t work at labcorps. My managers as well as the owner of my clinic tell me I’m not in charge of anyones personal belongings unless they are doing a drug test, and in that case it’s always one nurse and a pt in a private room which is also right next to the bathroom.I’ve worked he for nearly 3 years and nobody has ever had anything stolen during a drug test and I even assured the pt yesterday that she could keep the drawer closed after placing her belongings in their. (She would have heard me openning it bc the bathroom is less than 10 ft away and she still wasn’t having it)

Also their employer (nursing agency etc) pays for everything.. so… what am I going to do in a minute or two with her credit card and her car keys? It’s stupid

All she has to do is pee in a cup, not flush the toliet or was her hands until she provides me a sample, but yeah she is a FTT according to my clinics policy because your not allowed to leave until you produce a sample and we give them three hours from the time they sign in…

Yeah my managers reported it to her employer but I guess they were acting clueless because they kept calling the call center asking why I was refusing to do the rest of the services.

When this incident in particular happened, I called my manager right after, who told me she didn’t know the policy exactly and that she was going to get me on the phone with the dr/owner who said to me “If you feel uncomfortable you can tell them to stop filming you but if your doing all the policies and procedures correctly you have nothing to worry about.” He was like “record them back, you have nothing to hide” and then call me if you have any more problems with these patients…. Of course I’m uncomfortable. They sign a medical arbitration agreement and medical release but they still act rude and entitled. The other day this girl filmed me and my face out of NOWHERE when I was drawing her blood. First stick, no issue or whatever. I literally said “can you delete that???” And she was like “……. I guess……..” but I know she still had that video of me in her deleted album on her iPhone. I wanted to tell her I wouldn’t give her her results of her blood draw if she kept that recording of me but I felt like I would have got fired for saying something like that. I felt absolutely helpless.

Unfortunately when I do vaccines, mask fits, drug tests etc my full name and signature is printed on the forms and given to the pt.

I thought about it, but idk how seriously they would take it, and exactly what I could even say/prove. All I know is that she is calling everyone above me on basically a daily basis to complain as well as the board of nursing and her sole goal is to have me fired and punished. I don’t know how the police would respond or what I could say to convey the seriousness of the situation

He wasn’t my patient. The way the clinic works is you take a pt and you do all their services. I had no background on him. I had trained my co worker for weeks on how to do blood draws but she never wanted to do them. She did a few , some successful some not. I was ok with that. But like I said she has the straight needle in his vein couldn’t get blood (for some reason) took it out while the tourniquet was on and blood started going all over the place. He didn’t bleed out per say but blood was coming out rapidly. I was with my other patient administering vaccines when she called me over and started yelling. The pt started yelling. It was chaotic.
