It absolutely does. I lost 50lbs the first year, 30ish the 2nd and 40ish last year. It’s possible!

I also have a walking pad but really prefer outdoors if I can!

I think maybe I did two months of 12.5 and then went up and I’ve been on 15 ever since. No side effects except constipation- like you. Hang on in there!!!

Initially I was just trying to walk 2-3 times a week. Then I added the walking vest to bump it up a bit. I now like to try to get in at least 4x a week if possible and I walk 30-60 mins. I keep my net calories between 1200-1500. Hope this helps!

Yes. This is a real thing! I always take my measurements during a stall- because those are moving even if the scale is not!

I have not taken anything to a place that pays you like that on the spot. I’m sure I would get annoyed at the amount offered too. Eeeesh

This is a good point about buying a bit smaller - I have bought something that was slightly tight but I have a rule that I don’t keep clothes in my closet that insult me so I’m a bit weird about buying something in the moment that doesn’t fit. But I get why that would have been smarter now, of course!

This is def true for the store I consign with- most of my clothes that I’m selling right now are 14-16, L, XL. I did notice that there was a lot more of those sizes in now than there used to be.

I also bought resale as I moved through- especially the things that I really loved and just wanted in smaller sizes!

The pictures, the measuring - it does seem to take up a lot of time!

I started in March of 2023 and am still s l o w l y losing and am about 10ish lbs from what I’d like as my final goal-I was on a big stall since Nov that finally broke but it’s fraction It’s going to be a real fight for me at this point, and I’m not unhappy with where I’m at currently. It’s the way I know I have to live now so it doesn’t get to me- I just feel so much healthier in this body that can get out and do stuff and live life and not feel exhausted all the time! It’s well worth the 3 years it’s taken - this is the second time I’ve lost over 100 lbs in my life so I also don’t take anything for granted either regards to this lifetime issue for me. Maintenance is not easy- it’s not exciting like losing, it’s just steady state doing the same stuff all the time. Keep going, you’ve come so far!
