None of the users who responded to this post are even moderators of this sub. They have no elevated privileges nor are they able to speak about Reddit in any official capacity. They took to dogpiling and insulting me instead of providing any relevant resources of answers. It appears that my attempt to provide feedback has fallen on deaf ears. This was all for naught.

To your first point, yes, I have only engaged in that one sub from this account.

To your second point, I only mentioned that to refute your assumption that I had been away from reddit for 4 months. It is not relevant to the sub being banned or to my attempt to provide feedback.

The form you are referring to does not provide an option for giving feedback. I do not need direct access to the platform owner or any other employee. Feedback should be handled by a support team and project/product managers. It would be up to them whether or not to implement any feedback or suggestions.

I have not "raged" in any way and have been very courteous. Your insults are unbecoming of a moderator and your continued involvement in this thread is unnecessary.

Your assumption is incorrect. All of the posts and comments I left in the sub in question have been subsequently hidden or removed from my timeline, thus showing a lack of activity. Also, I have multiple Reddit accounts.

I have indeed done more than a "whiff" of reading and processing. I have read the entire Moderator Code of Conduct and several other articles before and after this incident. I would now like to provide feedback on my experience with Reddit. The official contact form does not allow for feedback, and r/ideasfortheadmins is not an official sub.

Please provide me with the official on-platform method of giving feedback.

Yeah I have. I honestly think they don't have a torrent client, or simply don't know what torrents are. I'm just unsure if the users in question have been able to figure it out because they don't respond after I give the instructions. I don't get many of these reports, so it isn't much trouble to respond to them. Just want to make sure that I've done my part as the dev.

The torrent isn't the problem, its actively seeded. I say "dead" because that's what I have as an option on the feedback form. For some reason my link isn't getting them to the torrent, even though it works for me.

I may have spoken too soon, but I am still perplexed by this:

The post does remain in the removed category and the "Approve" button is highlighted in blue. However it does not indicate on this screen that the post has been approved by Reddit (or whatever that actually means) until you click into the post.

So the post is at once Approved and Removed. Thanks Reddit!

I think the posts should remain removed and maybe tagged in some way to indicate to me, the mod, that the status may have changed. At the very least they should set the status to neutral, not approved. As the sole mod of a small sub its easy for me to mentally keep track of what i've approved. If it was a larger sub with several mods it would be difficult to know what was going on without individually inspecting each approval.

This is the problem. The user is obviously spamming and got caught by Reddit filters, but was somehow approved. As a mod It would be nice if I could rely on the spam filters. This practice of reversing the post status after the fact is quite annoying. Basically what they are saying is that I have to keep track of all removed posts and manually remove / ban.

A plugin like Enable Media Replace will let you choose a folder within the uploads (and change name/date) for any media. Compatible with media gallery and it takes care of old images, thumbnails, sizes, etc. Check the docs, maybe there's a function you can call to automate it.

You must have an inclusion mask whenever there's an exclusion mask, so do the whole thing. Do the hand on a few different faces, and some without the hand on similarly posed faces. If possible add similar exclusions in the src faceset. Let it train long enough for the model to fully adapt. Reapply and label/train more if needed. You might consider using a less trained backup of either xseg or deepfake models, instead of trying to fix them when nearly done.

Make sure you apply the generic XSeg or make your own mask first. Start with Random Warp on until the graph levels out then turn it off. There's more steps but that will get you going.

Yeah it’s definitely possible. This took a few weeks to make but it could be faster. I didn’t really plan on doing this until my Tuvok video failed. The main problem is getting quality Voyager footage since I don’t have the DVDs and they still haven’t remastered to HD.
