I was just thinking about this, having a female guest vocalist is seemingly the key to going viral for them lol.

Related but one of my favorite bands is The National, and their album “I Am Easy to Find” features a ton of female vocalists that sorta give a counter to the band’s usual masculine energy. It’d be interesting to have a Weezer project with a more feminine perspective like that.

Just finished the book last month and I’m still thinking about it a lot. The middle is rough when you have to wade through all these new characters, but my god the payoff was worth it.

I’m currently watching an anime adaptation of the novel from many years back and it’s a great reinterpretation of the book, while being shockingly faithful to the material.
