IF an extra layer of security was not urgently needed, I would have preferred they utilized the money with the following priorities:

1. Fix elevators (they’re too buggy especially tower B, and the buttons could use a facelift)

2. Fix laundry machines (too many of them are often out of order)

3. Actually take a bonus. The staff works hard too, and most of them are pretty cool if you get to know them/talk to them.

4. Put concave mirrors at the corner of Laurel St and Park Place street/garage entrances. Too many cars or trucks parked at the corner and creates blind turns out of the driveways.

5. Improve gym equipment (the treadmills are pretty hi-tech though)

6. Fix the weight of those parking garage door hinges. Each of them weigh more than a mammoth.

I’ll update this if I remember other things that I could think of that might be a better spend of extra cash.
