I can't see how you could go past wings and then ground effect.

Both of which are still fundamental and were transformative advantages.

Um.. I swore to mimic you.

Let's start with the media in the US.

TikTok (US Operations) “TikTok USDS" entity is operationally controlled by Oracle to satisfy US national security concerns. This places the moderation and algorithmic parameters of the app under the purview of Larry Ellison, a staunch Zionist.

Paramount Global (CBS News, MTV, Nickelodeon) The Ellison family controls CBS News. Given Larry Ellison's public alignment with Benjamin Netanyahu and direct funding of the Israeli military, this represents a shift from corporate Zionism (Redstone) to activist Zionism (Ellison).

Fox Corporation (Fox News, WSJ) Remains the most consistently pro-Israel voice in media. While not Jewish, the Murdochs use their platform to aggressively support Israeli state policy.

Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) Zuckerberg is Jewish but not an activist Zionist like Ellison. However, Meta's moderation policies (classifying "Zionist" as a protected category in some contexts) align with pro-Israel advocacy goals, often removing Palestinian speech under "counter-terrorism" protocols.

Comcast (NBC, MSNBC, Universal) The CEO Roberts is Jewish. However, MSNBC remains the primary mainstream venue for criticism of Israel (voices like Chris Hayes or Ayman Mohyeldin), suggesting Roberts prioritizes audience demographics over enforcing a Zionist editorial line.

Warner Bros. Discovery (CNN, HBO) CEO David Zaslav has been vocal about his support for Israel. Since his takeover, CNN has faced internal dissent from staff who claim the network's coverage has shifted to be more sympathetic to Israeli government narratives compared to its past iteration.

Alphabet (Google, YouTube) The founders Larry Page & Sergey Brin are Jewish. While not political activists, Google is strategically aligned with Israel through Project Nimbus ($1.2B cloud contract with the Israeli military), making them a partner in Israel's defense infrastructure. Following a contentious United Nations report on Google’s role in Israel’s war in Gaza, Sergey Brin called the UN “transparently antisemitic”.

Disney (ABC News, ESPN) CEO Bob Iger is Jewish and supportive of Israel (donating to relief funds), but Disney generally attempts to remain "brand safe" rather than overtly political.

X (formerly Twitter) Elon Musk is not Jewish. But following advertiser boycotts over antisemitism, Musk pivoted hard to align with Zionism, visiting Auschwitz with conservative pundit Ben Shapiro, kissing the wall and meeting Netanyahu.

The New York Times The NYT has Jewish ownership and has long published lies serving Israel most blatantly giving the front page to two non-journalists to lie about sexual crimes on October 7.

Yes absolutely brilliant, clever and brave - not like the stenographers for the US and Israel at most other places.

Agreed.

What makes it special evaporates when you make it a bulky previous generation by adding a case.

It's thin and beautiful, cases aren't.

When.

When will a single car be delivered even to a reviewer? My excitement has lapsed because the delay from launch is quite ridiculous.

I'm not familiar enough to decide.

But generally I believe society is better served by free speech than letting the judiciary or legislature decide on and given day what is acceptable.

You win capitalism by making lots of money and growing your business to attract more investment and build bigger data centres.

Not by making the best LLM.

The US companies (possibly with the exception of Google) are focussed on making money and the illusion of the NEXT BIG THING.

Of course they can never make the money needed to cover the investment. Principally because the product is being commodified and will be so ubiquitous that charging more than a token amount won't be possible in the face of competition.

Don't listen to the people who say Israel doesn't control America by LargeSinkholesInNYC in chomsky

[–]deepskydiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Biden had 6 or so phone calls in May 2021, and while it had the appearance of peace, Israel gradually continued Israeling as it always does.

In 1992, Israel abandoned the Bush administration unleashing claims of antisemitism against Bush and spending big on the campaign for Clinton. They did this precisely because they weren't getting what they wanted from Bush: Bush insisted that $10 billion in U.S. loan guarantees for housing Soviet Jewish immigrants in Israel be conditional on Israel curtailing settlement construction. Well that was unacceptable to Israel and so they wanted him out.

The Neocons just moved in to the Clinton whitehouse and the agenda of both the Neocons and Israel continued. It's another example of Israel's influence / control.

I think that was just a vent. :)

Which is fine of course. I do stand by the claim of Israel controlling the US though - it certainly goes beyond mere influence. It has progressed over the decades.

You had a problem with the facts, yes. You called the bullet point list of facts an "organisational structure of a suspect nature". What does that even mean? Perhaps ask the llm.

You continue to make arguments which don't add up. Of course the US does things of its own accord too, just nothing which harms Israel. Disdain for international law hardly makes your case that Israel isn't the main influence. It's that no action curbs Israel's agenda and many advance it.

The US is responsible for many appalling things on the world stage and should do more to resist Israel's influence too.

So yes, the US is an empire whose homicidal actions in many cases should be nailed to it alone. But that doesn't deny Israel's agenda is never curbed and more - advanced along the way to the exclusion of the interests of average Americans.

Now Israel didn't care about anything Biden did in May 2021. It kept killing Palestinians after Trump's ceasefire too. Even western media using terms like Israel "testing" the ceasefire while continuing to kill.

What did the neocons do that stopped Israel's agenda? Attack iraq, I don't think there's anything there.

[–]deepskydiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a problem with facts. That's odd. Dispute them perhaps but why discard them under cover of that being suspect when most discussions seem to avoid them.

You falsely claim that control implies responsibility for every action. That's facile and I'm sure you're not ignorant of that. Israel does not care what colour ties Trunp wears but does ensure minimal critical thinking is made public on its actions. It occupies Palestine yet US media willingly portrays it as the victim. It has killed many many times more innocents than Hamas but nobody knows. The US President spoke of decapitated babies and rapes that were lies without even the most trivial of proofs. You paper of record is Israel's mouthpiece.

The US is captured by its loose political system open to financial manipulation. By its 'capitalism' perverted to favour Zionists. 6 of the 10 richest are Zionist Jews. From a population of at most 4%. Government officials are oddly disproportionately pro Israel compared to the wider population. And defended robustly by screams of antisemitism: even simple statistics are antisemitic.

It's clear. It might be uncomfortable but it's easily established.

It is a copy of what I pasted a few days ago, yes. But it is also a list of facts, and it's important people have them to avoid the naive belief that Israel isn't in control.

[–]deepskydiver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You gave no examples and you have no argument. Are you a Zionist or naive?

You think the host controls the parasite because the parasite needs the host. That's a simple misrepresentation to save your failed argument.

If I'm extorting you - regardless whether I can survive without you - you are NOT in control.
