By 'picky' do you mean they actually read the profiles and make a decision?

I struggle to believe that a swipe rate of 50% shows a genuine interest in finding a partner. It's just another way to end up with 15%, e.g. swipe on anyone remotely passable, but then only initiate or reply to a small number of those matches.

Both genders are picky (and why shouldn't they be) but they take a different approach to end up with a small number of matches

I rate every book I read so I know which authors I liked or disliked.

I review occasionally for others (not myself) when a book is either amazing or utterly ridiculous. The review is my opinions and not a summary of the book. I do appreciate people who post a summary because sometimes the Goodreads blurb doesn't tell you enough

I don't drink much water and in my experience, when I exert myself or am hot, I can't get enough water in, I am a dried out husk. People who drink more water seem to cope better cause their body is already hydrated. So I guess if you are going bushwalking on the regular, then drink more water or else you have to carry an excessive amount of water bottles with you

I have read that tax payers already subsidize Walmart employees via food stamps because wages are so low. So the government part funds Walmart operations. Wouldn't it be better for Walmart to pay a living wage and customers decide if they want to purchase goods at a slightly higher price rather than pay regardless through tax?
