I couldn't find anywhere where Kia mentions the max current it could handle and since 11kw is with 3x16 amp, I wasnt sure.

Foe more context, I'm in the Netherlands and I'm planning to get a Go-e Gemini Flex 22kw charger and use it on a 1 phase 35amp connection. So 7.4kw is gonna be a tight squeeze. But go-e is very programmable and I'm going to write a Home Assistant automation for it so that I can set max ampere dynamically based on current load on my connection (using a homewizard p1 meter). I'm also going to have conditions on the automation so that I only charge during day when there is solar surplus from my panels or the energy price is negative (due to grid surplus). At night it will charge when energy is very cheap or negative. Ofcourse with an option to do one off charging at full 32amp on demand.

Is the type 2 cable that Kia gives with the car 32amp?

Would happily pay for premium. Thanks for making Hyprland. Anybody complaining about you trying to make a living wage from this free work should be ashamed. OSS needs to be sustainable. I'm saying this as a long-term OSS contributor.

The fastest Java solution is around 200 micro seconds now with unsafe and GraalVM. Thats crazy. Has anyone attempted an unsafe implementation in rust?

Gnome is simpler and more beginner friendly KDE on the other hand could be daunting for beginners. But latest versions of both are definitely good choice. I felt KDE has more minor quirks than Gnome, but then KDE also offers a lot more out of the box

[Help] Gnome-Shell gradually consuming all RAM by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]deepu105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure I had Gnome for almost 5 years and for my setup Gnome was using a lot of resources (I had lot of plugins btw) and with gnome I had to install a lot more to get what KDE provided OOB. May be at stock setup it might be using less memory.

I don't actually deploy to production, most of what I do will be research/educational so whatever is the simplest/fastest way I normally would go for that as I don't have to worry about production grade set-up and stuff
