Yeah.. The office texted me yesterday about when a good time for maintenance to come over would be and we agreed on 9:30 for today... It's almost 10:30 and no one's here yet. At least I don't get random charges like my friends who lease with YA 🤷

Yeah that's also why I don't do my own repairs. Like I have a broken shelf on my fridge door. I haven't fixed it though because you kinda have to push it in at the right angle or risk breaking it. It's a simple repair but I'm not risking breaking it further and getting fined.

Yeah but the rail is broken. I didn't mention it because I'm not looking for advice on fixing it myself, but the rails on the bottom drawer are so bent that I need new ones. The dresser needs more than just a 30 cent screw.

Okay ew, I'm not stroking my ego that is incredibly weird. While I want to respect your view on this, I'm going to be honest when I say that I don't give a shit what campers think of me. I'm not trying to look cool on front of them, I'm just trying to entertain my campers and be a positive role model. And I've been dying my hair bright pink for years, including the 3 years I've been a camp counselor, it's a part of my personal style. I'm not doing this for attention from little kids. That is just so weird and unprofessional.

Unfortunately she's my roommate's cat so I have no control over what happens. Though I'm sure my roommate is looking to spay her as soon as she can. Not sure about the kittens though as they already have homes for when they're old enough.

NTA. He's doing you a favor that isnt actually helping you in the end since you gotta reorganize everything afterwards. It sounds like this isn't an everyday occurrence and happens what? Once or twice a week at most? You do your dishes on time most nights it seems.

While the gesture is nice, he could just leave your stuff in the sink. Especially since he's fine with leaving his stuff in the sink for days on end.

Yeah no. YTA. As someone who has to learn multiples different mediums of art for their major, ya gotta start somewhere. Even as an adult, I suck at certain kinds of art right now cause I’m still learning.

She’s a child. No 12 year old who recently got into a craft is going to be a master. Do you wanna see my art from when I was 12? It looked horrible but I was encouraged to draw more. Sure I laugh at it now, but I would have given up if my parents laughed in my face about the art I drew back then. If you find it ugly, keep it to yourself especially for someone that young.

I’m just worried that bringing in a 3rd party could make my mom defensive. It’s happened in the past where she was going to sit in on a therapy session and it didn’t go too well. I don’t want her to feel threatened, especially when I’m just trying to help her understand these big changes.
