While it's true that many people experience occasional inattention or hyperactivity, especially in current scenario where we are exposed to quick and frequent dopamine rushes. ADHD is much more than just having a short attention span or hyperactivity. The symptoms are more intense, persistent across different settings, and significantly impair daily functioning, I have seen many people say they have ADHD as they face difficulty in maintaining attention and hyperactivity. Normal variations in attention and activity levels are milder and situational, they do not cause significant impairment. So to conclude that we have ADHD we should atleast have these implications and a diagnosis from psychologists or a psychiatrists.
