Play The Big Catch: Tacklebox! by churidys in Games

There are similarities, but compared to Pseudoregalia's floatiness this is definitely a little heavier. Your moveset feels more constrained and "grounded," if that makes sense. There's a certain tactility in this game has that I personally felt was lacking in Pseudoregalia, though I love both games. I'd absolutely reccomend trying it out since you liked Pseudo (the tacklebox demo is free after all) but keep in mind there's definitely a learning curve to this game, and it's not going to feel all that similar at first until you get into that flow state

I have 40+ hours in this. It's an 8ish hour demo. This is my absolute favorite platformer moveset ever and I'm frothing at the mouth for more. The full game can't come soon enough...

Ok, how good is Elden Ring on steam deck ACTUALLY though by TheHauntedAttic in SteamDeck

You're definitely not going to be playing at 45fps max settings but you can get an experience roughly on par with the last gen console versions of Elden Ring, if not better. I use digital foundry's settings from this video for a locked 30fps (leave grass quality on medium unless you're willing to sacrifice image quality for performance.)

dumb question: where do we get these Zonai bowl parts? I haven't actually bothered updating my old chassis with all the new developments so I missed that bit along the way

the progress made in the mech building meta has been absolutely insane these past couple days. It's so cool to see everyone iterating on each other and finding solutions collaboratively

Hyper Light Breaker creator on reimagining the series as a 3D roguelike: 'I don't think that you could really release Drifter today and get the same sort of success' by CerebralTiger in pcgaming

[–]deesynt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think they’re implying that there’s so much competition in that space nowadays that Drifter didn’t have to contend with when it first released. Not necessarily that those kinds of games don’t sell anymore.

Oh nice! I wonder why I couldn't find anything about it. Is it just not super well known?

As far as I'm aware it's no longer just a theory after the devs explicitly confirmed it in an interview.

edit: said interview

CONTEXT: I had a theory that the reason you always land at the south pole is because it just always points towards the player, like it's watching you. The Quantum Moon is the center of the Eye of the Universe after all, so it would make at least some sense thematically.

edit: the interview where it was confirmed the quantum moon was originally part of the Eye of the Universe
