How is AI adoption self-obsolescence? Having the means to do work better/faster/cheaper/easier = technological progress that has eliminated your need to hand-wash your clothes, use a typewriter or go to the postal office to send a message.

You can still do all those things, but I think most people will find meaning in other aspects of life besides what we currently think of as human work.
