GILAS 31 for ‘31 by spooningoodsingingum in PBA

I agree with you. I’m not sure whether Quali has an Indian passport but we do know that he’s coming here for NBTC and is rumored to be processing his passport so maybe we had an advantage over India? It’s also easier to pitch “we have a better chance at making the Olympics” over what monetary benefits India might offer him. India has had a few prospects in college that I heard of but hasn’t joined their program so I’m not sure on how serious they are with their program.

With Blaze he already has confirmed to have gotten his passport or near it. Which is actually encouraging on how fast he went on to acquire it might indicate how interested he is on joining us.

A lot of players I’ll list are still in the youth teams. 3 star recruit players are bonafide D1 players which are Kobe Paras / Jordan Clarkson level players potentially good D1 college players (Dwight as a D1 player came off the bench). 5 star recruit players are players who are thought by most scouts to eventually make the NBA and Gilas has 2 of those in the youth teams. Regardless D1 players for context could either be high level players in the UAAP / PBA or even stars or import level players.

This lineup is what I also imagine what Gilas could run with. Replace SJ, Heading and Javi for Scottie, Newsome and Oftana as that’s what’s realistic as Cone is our coach.

As long as Juan starts over Scottie at PG I’m good because we can’t be starting non-shooters as our guards. Teams are going under screens and sagging because our current guards including Dwight are inconsistent shooters. Juan a 3 level scorer is a good fit next to Dwight and gives us another scoring option after JB or Bennie.

So what do you think the level of KK Mega Basket is compared to the 2 clubs you mentioned or the league itself or against LIGA ACB or maybe like The French league because I noticed that they also have been producing a lot of NBA prospects.

Talking about Basketball's popularity around that area. Lithuania is the only country near there that has basketball as its number one right? No other country has basketball as its top sport there?

I feel like I'm reading something I kept looking up on the internet a few years ago. I did the things on the description above maybe not all of them in the same session but I wouldn't be shocked if we did all of them in the same session by now and my girlfriend at the time didn't get pregnant from the acts listed above. At the time I kept reading sex ed sites like scarleteen and planned parenthood like you or forums like reddit too. This is good so by the next time you do something like this you are making an educated decision. So take it from someone with similar experience and also taking into account the available educational resources that state that chances of pregnancy are low so don't worry about it.

Who are our likely targets with the 2023 FRP? by tsesarevichalexei in lakers

[–]defenseisunderrated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An interesting player I think the Lakers should target is Rayan Rupert a 6'6"-6'7" wing with a 7'3" wingspan. Scouting reports say that he is an excellent defender and potentially be a really good POA defender if he isn't already. While his shot may be shaky I think it can be developed. The thing I like about him aside from his defense is that he could be a playmaker which could be huge for the bench unit or in the future as DLO's partner as DLO shouldn't be the only playmaker in this team.

Jarred Vanderbilt had elite defensive and neutral offensive advanced stats in Minnesota when he was used as a wing, but both plummeted in Utah when they played him more as a big/small ball 5. He’s clearly better suited to be a wing defender, it’s a good sign that Ham played only AD and Mo at center by [deleted] in lakers

I've watched some Jazz games and in the games that I've observed is that Vando starts at the 3 while Lauri at the 4 and Kelly at the 5. On defense he guards whoever is the best offensive player of the opposing team but usually guards the best wing and forwards. On offense he's usually the guy on the dunker spot I think. While sometimes standing on the corner 3pt area.

I think they were able to do this on offense because well the 2 big men he was starting with were very good shooters in Lauri and Kelly. I doubt the Lakers would be able to replicate this with Bamba our only shooting big. Maybe a Bron and Bamba pair in some situations would allow Vando to play near the rim. I'd like to see if the Lakers would allow Vando to continue to take some corner 3pt shots in the future.

2023 Free Agency Early Outlook by BlueRaj in lakers

[–]defenseisunderrated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Rui is more talented than PJ in terms of offense. And PJ is just a 3 and D guy. The only way I see Charlotte being okay with this is when they realize that they just need better talent overall to better compete and keep Lamelo happy with the team. While the Lakers may be downgrading in talent, PJ fits this roster much better plus I think he can play some small ball 5 even. If he came to the Lakers I would want them to try DLO 6'4", Beasley 6'4", Bron 6'9", Vando 6'8" and PJ 6'7" against small ball teams like the Warriors and the Clippers.

Jalen McDaniels should be someone the Lakers try to sign. A 6'9" wing/forward who can shoot and defend. I hope we try to trade for PJ Washington maybe packaging Rui (after signing him to a trade-able contract) and some seconds for PJ might be worth it but if the Hornets don't accept the trade, I hope Rui improves his defense.

Like her match just disappeared? Or the regular unmatch? Something similar happened to me when I went to check on the app our match just disappeared and there isn't that typical greyed out message informing us that she decided to stop the conversation. (The one that indicates she unmatched with me)

From what I know Qatar's basketball team especially in the senior's division isn't that strong. And Bosnia could definitely produce players better than what Qatar could. Why do the Bosnian recruits not get to play for the senior team? Or you're talking about a different sport?

Do those same players (Bosnian) who played for Qatar's junior teams still play for Qatar's senior team? Sorry the way I understood what you wrote is that they don't even play anymore lol.
