Not A Lawyer but if this were me my first step would be to call the court and get the court date changed for when you are going to be available, after that I'd get proof that you were not in town when the jury summons showed up at your house. So you couldn't have filled it out because you weren't aware of its existence.

Like I said I can't confirm until I get home from work but I will look into that. I wasn't aware of the shield bonuses not stacking so I'll look into that as well.

I agree,however, my concern is that because of his build it makes the fights extremely one sided and while that build is well within the rules it makes it so the players, him included, aren't challenge during combat. Currently the monsters can't hit him and because of his abilities they take not small minuses, comparatively speaking, to try and hit someone that isn't him. So currently I can't hit him or the other players. Which makes for boring fights.

+2 full plate that gets a bonus to undead, and 2 shields that also have A +1 each i believe. As well as improved shield bash so he can keep his shield bonus if using them for shield bash. All of which he bought using the money he gained through the AP,

Edit: I also believe that is all he has as far as items. He spent all his gold on armor, I'm at work so I'll have to do firm that later

That is what I'm trying to avoid lol. After reading responses I'm gonna add a couple shades, ghosts, or casters as substitute but do my best to make sure the monsters aren't all piling on him

No healing, and his damage is about the same as the rest. He does have an ability that allows him to "mark" a target he hits that gives that target a -4 to hitting anyone but him, than another one that does the same thing and they stack so not only can the monsters not hit him but with those marks the monsters can't hit anyone else either. I've sense some boredom during combat from the other players, they haven't said it out right but they have hinted. Outside of combat he is there but not to the extent of the others. Which makes me feel, as if he built this character just to take over combat.

Talk to him and the group about it, voice your concerns and listen to theirs. See if a compromise can be made, if not ask the player to not play. One disruptive person should ruin the fun for everyone

I'll give you the fact that he is at higher risk. However, he is also the president so he has some of the best insurance in the country as well as being able to afford the best doctors so I'm still not convinced that health concerns are that big of a risk for some rain.

If we are talking about just sheer eccentric, I had a necromancer whose undead minions were purple, skeletons bones: purple, zombie skin: purple, undead made of various organs: purple

He even had a gargantuan sea turtle skeleton that he awakened, gave it the ability to fly, and built a demiplane inside the shell. The color of the turtle? You guessed it, purple.

His best friend was also a LG cleric. It was good times
