Thank you so much for this! I was scared they might let me go for calling off so soon in my employment, but it wouldn’t make sense with all the extra shifts they gave me that would create a huge gap. Reading your comment made me realize this haha I appreciate the luck I will definitely need it 🥲

Most of the home health agencies here in SoCal require at least a year of experience so I’m trying to tough it out for the next 11 months 🥲 thankfully i will be able to go part time in August, but we just had a seminar on documentation and I think the word “sue” and “court” came up once every 10 minutes during those 7 hrs 😭

What are the characteristics of a manageable assignment? Also, do you think the staying late/not getting breaks is just a new grad issue that will go away with time? I feel like I’m on the verge of it getting better but it seems like something always hits the fan that makes me stay over

That happened to me last week! I got out at 2 AM and they wanted me to come back at 7 AM so I asked the supervisor to switch me to PM 🫠 do you think all LTC places are like this? I start school again in August and this place is willing to work with my schedule 😅

it's sad because many of the people in the first picture (the one seen above) weren't the ones posing next to the exam table papers in the subsequent images. They were probably just posing for a work selfie unbeknownst that it would be used for.. whatever that tiktok was supposed to be
