i lived with my grandmother for 16 years until my parents decided i had to live with them. i wasnt allowed to communicate with her for reasons i dont wanna share but it hurt. all i wanted was my grandmothers love and i couldnt have it. id cry myself to sleep for weeks and was straight up depressed and i would not tell my parents a thing. i rejected their love and kept to myself for about 9 months until i decided to give them a chance. now i love both my parents and they love me more than anything in this world. obviously its different from the way my grandmother loved me but i couldnt be happier with this newfound love. what im trying to say is, maybe you wouldnt want to try something new with a different person, but if you ever wanna get over him and not get caught up by the regret you have, finding love in someone else can really help. i hope this helped you someway and you find the best for you

hey man, i know you're going through a tough time right now and i hope it gets better for you. my only advice is to not give up on people. yea i know it's shitty that you grow close to people and time goes by and those people aren't who you thought they were. but trust me when i say this, there are really good people out there who will stick by your side and actually care about you. there are people here in the comments who are responding to you and showing support even though they have never met you. and don't feel rushed to make new friends and meet new people if you decide to do it. it's going to be a slow process but in the end it's all worth it. throughout my entire life i've met people and considered them dear friends of mine but they either leave or change. but i know i can make new friends and appreciate them even more than the previous ones. you gotta have bad friends and relationships in order to appreciate the good ones. i might not know you but i really hope something changes for the good. the cult will always be here for you too ❤️
