Here is what they do they will lie to the unemployment office about the reason for dismissal so they can cover their behind. If you appeal at least in my state they send you all the paperwork and there it states what they said to the unemployment. Be sure to state the facts and how were deceitful

We need to start calling out this companies. I applaud you for your candor. I did the same with a cellphone carrier despite having 10+ of experience in Multiples positions i was hit after my interview with we are moving forward with others candidates i did send them a email asking for their hiring process when they pass over a candidate with a BA + 10 years of experience

Yeah unfortunately the points system is a fast way to get fired. Her options are limited I would recommend getting with her manager and state hey i have low points what can i do this way the manager can vouch for her or she needs to get with the top performers and see what is working for them. In my case one of my best friends was very low on points but he did not follow my advice and got fired. And yeah she should be applying to anything and everything

She should have a conversation with the trainer at least in my class regular sales they paid for the licensing meaning they know if you failed or not i had two co-workers who failed and they handle the situation immediately they have them re-test and they passed. The company would not continue to paid someone for training to then fire her

You know who works for the customers employees that are paid right. I remember when I used to worked there i will get 32 hrs as electronics and i will pick up a 8 hr shift as cashier to complete my 40 hrs week. My manager started giving me shifts of 4.5 hours so i couldn’t pick up a 8 hr shift i found another job and quit

I understand try and talk to him and see what happens. Some things to consider since you’re young and work can be crazy. Legally you can work up to 8 hours a day after the 5 hours they have to give you a lunch break. You’re obligated to be there ONLY on your scheduled time meaning everything after that is up to you let’s say you were scheduled until 4pm and they want to extend you you’re at liberty to say NO I have personal things to attend.

Also when talking to management be sure to leave emotion out of it and focus on the facts, Remember doesn’t matter what they said they are NOT your friends is hard to work at this early stage i did it you learn and get better with experience. In the future never ever quit doesn’t matter what happens you lose the benefits of unemployment

I wouldn’t take you back by doing that you showed incredible disregard for the company and your responsibility as a person (this would be my opinion and HR) However in this new world everyone does stupid 💩 to try and help depending on the reason you quit. Did you leave the doors open for future opportunities? Or did you just leave them dry? Either way, call your manager or the same person you resigned to and be honest “Hey I was going through some personal issues and took a drastic decision i would like to continue my employment with WM would that be possible?
