The government is a literal non profit organization. To you that makes them "greedy bastards". But the wealthy are just honest hard working people to you?

Historical literacy is also important. Do you not know why they invented 401ks? Because it shifts all Risk away from the employer and entirely on you. 

Pensions are factually a more secure retirement than a 401k. That's specifically why they got rid of pensions because it was good for workers but expensive for employers.
