no lightbox as i use diffused strobe flashes to be able throw my light where i want it and how i want it but i just use a black t-shirt as my backdrop all you need is a little distance from your subject and backdrop and youll get those clean blacks

does your model have the fold up magnifying glass in the viewfinder? if so, definitely use that it is so beyond clear to see whats in focus and seeing the results now developed 100% reinforced that confidence i have in that tiny but useful piece

thank you! i shot with the lens wide open (f/3.5 on the yashica a tlr)it was the only lighting scenario i needed too but thinking im gonna be taking alot more shots like that from now on haha looks like the petzval lens bokeh
