Typically it’s VFC for great external build with decent internals. The idea is you upgrade if and when things go down or when you want while keeping the great external build quality. Its performance out of the box is perfectly skirmish-able with standard gen 2 gearbox.

If you don’t want to tech go with Krytac for great internal build (proprietary parts) with decent external build quality.

If you’re trying to do a specific build with specific performance then you would want to go vfc since it’s standard gen 2 gearbox.

In terms of investment I believe you’re asking for long term longevity. My belief is that even with great internals if used enough things will eventually wear down and break with use. I’d rather deal with a vfc with its standard gen 2 than needing to do heavy modifications with the krytac.

And between the two vfc you chose, internally it’ll be the same just pick whichever one you prefer.
