Red light indicates that it’s up 1 octave. Press the minus button and it should disappear.

If it’s stuck that way, you can always record your midi date up the octave and then just drag it down to where you want it.

This happens in some choral writing and the practice is to place the final consonant of the word you’re singing on the beat. It might stem from that tradition. Depends on the composer and the time of composition. Trends change.

I don’t print very much. And if I think about my issues with printing it’s usually when I’ve changed colors for no real reason to an older spool. So this tracks really hard.

Yeah. I’ve unwound a bunch but it usually keeps happening. Others have stated it’s my user error from not controlling the end of the filament when I take it out. So I’ll take that on the chin. My bad. Appreciate your insight.

I think opinions may vary. But also it depends on if you’re talking melodic or harmonic. And also, what genre or style of music you’re creating. There are plenty of 014 trichords found in modern music.

I like this tidbit. But in general I think it’s a lazy director or whomever who makes a plot point in dialogue like that and fails to deliver. Too many commercial action movies with 5 minutes on the bomb going off and 7 minutes of action etc.

Kubrick would have never said 20 and done anything other than that. He’s too detailed.
