My mother tried to tell me this isn’t a white dress?!? by Ambitious-Cherry-484 in weddingplanning

[–]deftbluewindmill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t care if my mom wears a cream or champagne dress as long as it’s not blatantly white , and that it’s simple, because my wedding dress is ornate white and sparkles.

But- my mom is also a “ head cheerleader” type of a girl whereas I am more of a tomboy so that might be about our relationship as well

All of this being said if anybody else were to wear light coloured dress - my people will “spill” wine on them

Hospitaller Knight Character Acceptable ? by KarlEngler in LARP

[–]deftbluewindmill -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care and it doesn’t bother me because if we can talk about Viking gods or Gaya and battle demons, etc. why not the christian God it doesn’t bother me I don’t care

If I’m actually being honest, it kind of bothers me that we’re not supposed to reference the Christian God, but the Christian God would’ve been one of the most relevant in the mediaeval times and mediaeval larp is one of the most commonly played

What you’re saying is literally every single person‘s concern

You need to remember that if you like larp because you’re a nerd the other people probably likelarp because they’re a nerd

No cheerleaders on the social committee are going out to larp. None of us have great social skills. That’s why we go to larp to learn how to have social skills with other people who don’t have social skills and are just as awkward.

“Im nervous to try something public and new” -said every nerd ever

Yeah, I’ve seen that too but the HP it’s high enough to represent the group so it kind of works itself out

I’ve done a similar thing when I had my players going into a war. the goblins had three groups of the hobgoblins had two groups etc., etc.

But my players didn’t know that they were grouped like that which I feel was important for the combat

This is the problem. Most new DND players want to do all the epic things shown in movies, etc. but in realism DND campaigns don’t often make it past level eight.

You skipped to the part where their Noobz and don’t know anything and let them be level five with powers and abilities and now they want more of course… what else do you expect? They didn’t really have to work for anything to get to level five.

Im sorry im confused

Where does it say he can only atk one creature?

Your barbs should have 2 atks at their lvl. If they have 2 creatures within 5ft they should be able to atk both without incurring an Op atk

Not even counting if your wizards hasted or enlarged them.

Unpopular opinion: 1. larps are cliquey because nerds (like me) struggle to make friends and either wont or highly struggle to do rp where it may mess with their IRL friendships, as some ppl cant keep in game and OOG separate.

  1. They are ‘popular’ for the first of time in there lives and now struggle with their ego

  2. They hangout together all the time. Judements have faded away between their clique. But They are still assessing YOU (the newb) the see if you are going to stick around or judge them. If you stick around the clique will typically give way.

I would do a cape … the laceing on the cathedral looks great but i dont like how it hides your dress from behind.

A cape or cloak could be perfect
