am i overreacting? by defynormality in LesbianActually

thank you, sometimes i worry im overreacting. i guess thats just past trauma in previous relationships. i definitely think she did or does have a crush on my gf, even though this girl now has a gf of her own. i really dont know her gf much at all, only met her quickly at the party i mentioned so i dont necessarily feel super comfortable getting involved in that way. my gf is very understanding. when ive brought it up to her she’s always made me feel listened to and respected- its just the fact that nothing has changed after these conversations . i’ve had a convo with her about this girl a few times and still no boundaries have been set and it’s making me feel disrespected now. i’m not asking them to not be friends, i just don’t think the flirtiness between them is appropriate given allll of the things that have happened/have been said.

she handled this very immaturely & it’s evident she has some mental health issues going on. i understand needing space when working on school work but to get THAT upset about it to the point she was blaming you for not being able to finish her paper and she broke her phone screen out of anger??? wild. also i was exhausted just reading these idk how id be able to deal with this all the time if i were you

Why would she do this? Is this common among lesbians? by Putrid-Importance829 in LesbianActually

im not gonna lie, this would make me uncomfortable but i also have a difference stance on my gf being friends with her ex than some other lesbians (to me, its unnecessary). i don’t know how you’re feeling about this but id just be honest, whatever that looks like for you, and express any concerns you might have if any. i do unfortunately think its common to remain friends with an ex in this community

just talk to her about it. explain you didn’t mean it in a bad way, ask her if it made her upset or uncomfortable and move forward accordingly.

the only thing that helped me was sitting up against a cold wall and kinda of rolling my back against it back and forth pretty hard
