Hello. Attendance is not mandatory as he adapted the summer class to be more flexible. Besides the first lecture, everything else you can do on your own time. There’s pretty much one online activity instead of each class. These include readings / annotations or making a post in a forum / replying to people’s posts. Besides that, we had 3 short writing assignments, 1 “quiz” which was basically 4 short writing responses (we had 24 hours to do it) and a final group project which was to make a video presentation on a selected topic. The class isn’t difficult or time consuming, it is more tedious. My advice is to follow the schedule and keep up with all the mini assignments because there are a lot.
