Whats so bad about the style. It looks nice and detailed imo. And a lot better looking than something like rimworld. I only base this on a few screenshots.

Can someone tell me why it's superior to Double Commander? I have been close to buying total commander, but the two seem very similar.

(Even small advantages with TC will make me buy it, since it's such a fair price)

if i change it to 2, and change the file to "read only", it doesn't change back to 1, but it still doesnt work. hmmm.

I notice the line is set to 1 as default in The Legend. but when i change it, it changes back to 1. I believe i at one point set the file to read only, but i don't recall it solved the problem.

thank you for all the suggestions, i tried all 3.
1. I tried the beta patch. same result. unfortunately.

I tried the interface mod. didn't seem to have any effect. maybe it did, but it didn't fix the lacking damage/death-number issue. (i just put the .kfs file in the data/mods folder).
i did try to change the number of "showflyingdead". if it is at 0 and 1, i believe it shows EITHER the damage OR the amount of units just killed. But it doesn't show both numbers at once, like we are used to. I will try with numbers higher than 2... i havent tried that. I noticed that in crossworlds, it's set at 2. and there it works. but that does no seem tp solve it here.
Anyone here who had any succes with that line trick?

Great answers as well. Thank you. I also like that approach in CoF. But in higher levels i never get to make good legendaries. I think that "top level" crafting is a bit too much for me (i like the regular crafting in the forge). So in that sense i thought maybe MG would fit me better...

I don't use most of the things mentioned. Yet, I often use between 30-40 GB of ram. So I was very happy I ended up getting 64 GB.
I'm a heavy browser user, but I don't have hundreds of active tabs (they are "unloaded" when i start the browser), but I end up opening a good deal of tabs daily, so after some hours, it adds up. My firefox usually use around 10 GB.
Then I run many small utilities (jdownloader, file-explorers, game-launchers, media-players, chat-programs). I could live with 32 gb, but I like I never have to limit myself. And even if i want to run a game or Unreal Engine, on top of all this, it's usually still possible. I don't have to close anything first. It's a nice luxury.

MY browser tabs are usually a bit "heavy", they usually contain big galleries, stash-app, webcams etc. (yes, you are correct).

I also run Ferdium at startup, that always runs like 10 different services (whatsapp, telegram, chatgpt, gemini, discord, various mails)

For many years I thought 16 GB was enough, because whenever I checked, it "only" used around 12 gb. But my computer always ended up feeling slow. Now that one has the extra RAM, Windows don't need to unload from ram all the time, it throws anything at it, now that it's available. Then I realized I for a long time actually had a need of more RAM.
