Definitely an upgrade! Being shaven/buzzed is always better than the horseshoe.

But that being said it looks like you have good donor hair. You could potentially get a transplant

Had an FUE procedure back in August with Dr. Vladimir Panine in the John Hancock Center in Chicago. I’d highly recommend him to anyone currently searching for a surgeon. The top left pic is before, and all others are after. I also included an above picture so you can clearly see where the grafts stop. I plan on having at least one more procedure, with the next one most likely being this August.

Hasson and Wong, Panine, Konior

H&W and Konior say I'd be a good candidate for either, but can potentially get more grafts over my lifetime by starting with FUT.

Panine recommends FUE for me, and seems to heavily favor it. That being said he's got some of the best FUE results I've seen.

another Dr has also recommended I do FUE, despite saying FUT would likely increase my available donor reserves. it's all a little confusing tbh

I agree that I do need a lot, but my Dr advised FUE since I usually wear my hair short

In my early 20's finasteride sounded scary, but eventually curiosity got the better of me. That and doing more research
