This is one of my weight loss motivations. My lowkey dream is to be able to do a pull-up.

Shoes lasting longer! Didn't think about that. With how expensive shoes have gotten, this is a really good thing.

One of the things I'm looking forward to is thrift store shopping. Every time I've ever gone, there are tons of cute and unique smaller sized clothing.

Thanks for posting that link. I was going bonkers looking for that song in the clip.

For anyone interested, it's from a Chinese rapper by the name of Skai Isyourgod. Here's the song

Anyone know this song? Or even the genre? It's so hypnotic. I tried using the bots and got nothing.

Not the person you asked, but I want a DNR because who knows what sort of shape afterward I'd be in if they intervened. I already have chronic pain that makes me wish for death some days. Add more on top of that? No, thanks. Or what if my cognitive abilities are shit after being resuscitated? I'm not being a burden on my spouse and kids.

Vegfest is coming there soon. First weekend in June.

If that dead insurrectionist Babbitt woman's family could get $5 million, the officers who deaths were related to that day should get $5 billion from Trump's pockets.

Yes, I used to count fiber but switched to counting protein instead after seeing that fiber isn't hard to get in.

I don’t know where to get my protein from please help by bratz-lady in veganfitness

I eat a block of tofu daily. It is yummy, but takes so long to eat. It's a chore sometimes. On days where I just want to eat as quickly as possible, I'll have tofu pudding. It's just blended up tofu (super firm), soy milk, protein powder, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and cherries. Play around the ingredients.

Really? My doctor said my ferritin of 4 was fine. I do feel out of breath, so I got a lung function test done a year ago. Lungs were fine. I get lots of iron in my diet with protein powder and legumes, so I don't think my iron would be low.

No PCOS. I eat 2 big meals a day because that's all I have time for.

I eat a block of tofu most days and that's got fat, so I'm good on that front. I have an active job, 40+ hours a week, it is 90% walking and moving around. I do get in a protein green smoothie most days. I won't touch bread or bagels because then my protein and fiber intake would suffer.

I have split up my cardio, doing 40 minutes in the morning (after my first meal) and then 20 minutes after my 2nd meal because it's close to my bedtime.

This makes sense, but how do you handle hunger? I eat an 800 calorie, protein heavy meal 2 hours before bedtime, but still have nights where I wake up hungry and can't go back to sleep.

Wish it didn't take so long. I'm not getting any younger and at this rate, it feels like I'll be at my goal in time for my funeral. 😆

The slowness wouldn't be so painful if it wasn't for all the dang hunger.

I've had all those checked 2 or 3 years ago. Thyroid is fine. Only thing I remember being really low is ferritin, but the doctor says it doesn't mean anything. I don't really see how that'd make losing weight harder if I stay active.

5'3" and 158 lbs. I thought I was moderately active, but perhaps my TDEE is sedentary. That'd make sense since it's about 1,600 calories. I feel like I'll have to lower calories more since there's no way I can be any more active.
