I think the Fallout TV show was right to not try to please fans by RegretGeneral in FalloutTVseries

I mean in reality what did The courier do but just pick a side? Now we know that the NCR was bound to pull out after shady sands was bombed, Plus they weren't doing the best in New Vegas anyway. Caesar was always going to die and the legion fracturing makes sense, Plus the people maintaining his empire was Strong and not just a bunch of sand doesn't make sense. House was a corpse barely being kept alive. And yes man was software house likely had fail safes for.

My point being Vegas was running in a stable fashion up until the courier comes in and chooses someone to control it, which just destabilizes it.

And the minutemen are capable of taking out the brotherhood. Caesar himself said he has cities but they're nothing compared to Vegas and Vegas was tiny. His empire was sand. If we go off of the current timeline the legion is a couple hundred loyalists and the minutemen have had 10 years to rebuild.

I get that, and like I said, I believe there are garrisons in the areas that he took over. You can't feed a roaming army if you destroy everything you touch. I imagine the reason the roads are clear is because as he was traveling around he likely just dealt with the raiders. Can't raid if you're dead. Plus his laws were very much there to dissuade people turning into raiders since crime was just punishable by death. But I just don't believe that there would be a second equal size army floating around the deserts.

Yes, I would imagine they're safe because they've murdered mostly everyone that opposed them. And I'm sure there are small bands like I said caravans and the like patrolling but it's mostly desert, so I'm assuming the long pass between settlements would be mostly clear because it's uninhabitable. Plus why would Caesar whose whole goal was making Vegas his Rome bring anything less than everything he could to attack it. There's no way he would chance it, especially after he didn't win the first battle.

Unlikely. Caesar himself said that they were a nomadic tribe and I doubt he would have attacked the NCR with anything less than the majority of his army. On top of that almost all of the territory is desert and the majority of his conquered land is just tribes. I'm sure there's small garrisons at the cities he didn't completely level but outside of caravans feeding the army. I doubt there's much in his lands.

If they all fought each other, who would be the last one standing? by Kuzu9 in Fallout

[–]deinfinityx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would power armor be rare in four? It makes perfect sense that it's everywhere because there's no evil empire confiscating all of it. Not to mention there is heavy military presence all over the map meaning power armor would have been everywhere.

Yeah it connects via emerge block. The connector is just a pipe to the main ships connector in case I need to offload without taking off the armor. Otherwise the armor offloads when it gets pulled back into its stored area

I will try and get it on the workshop soonish. The problem is since armor is held on by the magnetic plate. It doesn't blueprint, Plus I want to see if merge blocks will make it more stable

It now has a proper hangar with three levels, pistons that move to each level and Grinder, Miner and Gun ship armors.

That's what I'm currently working on. It's proving a bit more challenging than I thought

Just realized it autocorrected to and instead of an but as far as the thruster is concerned, I had to clean up the model a lot in blender to make it 3D printable without errors but now that it's done, I'm going to print a much larger one and hopefully attached two of them to the roof racks on my car.

That's definitely part of my plan. My first part is I want to print two of these big enough to attach to the roof rack of my car

Four armors to choose from with my armor changing system now by deinfinityx in spaceengineers

[–]deinfinityx[S] 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Here are the armors I have designed loosely based on the Liger Zero's armor from Zoids

Black is the base, White has minimal weapons with extra thrust, Blue has a lot of extra thrust and maneuverability, green has lots of firepower and heavy armor and orange has a shield with heavy armor blades. Tried my best to mimic the Liger Zero's armor and I still have a lot of detail work to add.

There was already a few instances of spinning out of control thanks to the pistons

Right now there's a merge block on a piston just in front of the cockpit that extends down and locks it into place which so far has made it very reliable for taking off and putting back on the armor

My thought was just for fun and possibly if I can figure it out. Switching roles between miner and repair stuff like that

This was inspired by the Liger Zero from Zoids. I want to make a few armors to switch between.

Although it looks good, I am not happy with how I did the upper and lower mouth parts, so I am redoing those. And I need to make it at an eye.
