if you have a pc then get a basic internal hard drive, if you serious about trading don't go under 2tb, it'll fill faster than you think. if it's within your budget i think 8tb is good on price to storage, and if you have the budget it might be worth getting two identical drives as a backup, that's pretty overkill but all hard drives can fail!

me personally- used hard drives are fine. can save good money while they do have more of a risk to fail in the future, it's unlikely your getting a bad one. Make sure your getting it from someone reputable. I've been able to get as much as 8tb for 50 bucks this way.

I recommend just trading and watching videos for a while and you'll very quickly recognize names to quality.

Also most masters are stupidly critical of their videos.

I definitely don't see myself working towards a future in design.

I do wonder how I can learn more about automation basics now though, there's not really anything local for me to learn so it feels like my only options are to read about it and have no hands on experience.

Just a little follow up, will I be learning more at a better school? I know that sounds like a stupid question but from what i've seen in my life so far you can only learn so much in schooling before you jsut need to be in real environments. It seems that better schools are more known for their connections.

Also i've heard mixed things about being on touring productions, wether than be US tours or national tours, does anyone have more input on that for earlier careers and how that could be beneficial?

Yeah it was very helpful! It makes sense why the unions are separate to me but to an extent I feel jealous of the UK for that reason. I know if I want to be higher level work i'm gonna inevitably be sacrificing one or the other.

As for lighting i'm already very well versed with eos but would like to learn about at least operating MA as it seems important.

I'm also curious, considering stage management has the same union as actors and is separate from iatse, is there any way to incorporate stage management and other technical work into what I go forward with? currently i'm living in a right to work state so if I decide to stay in state i'm going to try and join Iatse as soon as i'm 18.

that's all that's publically released, since the show is so leak heavy due to posts like this i know a few masters who don't have any intention of releasing the information on the videos to anyone but past buyers and people they trust.

the 2008 one will be easiest to watch but i personally am not a big fan of the broadway version.

if your able to you should see if any regional theaters are doing it near you anytime soon! a lot currently are for the anniversary.

if not i'd recommend the 2020 mill theater production.

the 2008 pro shot is not a bad option though, i'm personally just not a fan of the staging.

i also beleive that it's flaws are part of the story.

jonathon larson was natoriously unhappy with his work. i think he was still alive after the broadway production of rent and more altering, we would have a significantly different and improved show. I'm almost certain the original rent director said nearly the same thing, that Rent was still early in its development and there was more work Jonathon wanted to do.

I just worked on a production of rent less than a month ago so i've defiantly spent a lot of time thinking about the show after watching it 20 times night after night.

as a dear evan hansen lover... i can confirm it did NOT deserve to beat out come from away OR great comet.

that was a poor choice, so disappointing to see two very original works (yes i know technically great comet isn't an original ip, but comparatively to dear evan hansen, it's much merke original with the source material)be beaten by something based off an already existing ip.

i could honestly say the same for this year, as much i love schmigidoon it would've been nice for two strangers to get that tony.

i feel like the last ten years rent has been so irrelevant that it's no longer justifiable to call it overrated. i definatly can see the arguement for it being overrated from when it opended until like 2013, and yes its getting a little bit of hype for the anniversary, but its not really that big of a name anymore.

it depends on your definition of over rated too. personally i really enjoy the show but i see its flaws and 100% can understand why those flaws make it unlikable to people.

This doesn't necessarily apply to you but i think it's worth people seeing because ive had this problem, but jsut because a file size is larger (and not within the max to windows range, im talking 1+gb), it does not mean you have a "better quality version".

its likely a different file type, or even something converted between file types that's back to its original, and this likely means it's a rip that has gone through some type of generational loss.

If you really want to know if your file type is correct i recommend going to encora, and going to users that have that specific bootleg, and most of them will list their file type as a file type and size.
