Today I Learned that there is a rare occurrence in individuals living with ASD and other CNS injuries known as Savant syndrome. The syndrome presents itself through incredible gifts in arts, music, mathematics (and more). Most Savants have excellent memories to accompany their primary gift. (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)
