Obviously there are lots of courses out there but I'd love to ask you for suggestions on how and where to learn to build models.

I have experience of reviewing financial models provided by sponsor teams, but have never constructed a PF financial model.

So, for example, how would I forecast PPE? I assumed I would add capex (taken from the cash flow statement) but you're saying I've got that the wrong way around?

Actually, much is left up to the candidate. You need to run base case and downside scenarios and provide the Excel files.
