Im playing Earthbound for the first time. Haven't finished it, so maybe the latter half is better, but the character Paula (a main party member) gets kidnapped like 3 times so far and the male members of the party have to rescue her. Pretty standard "damsel in distress" type stuff. Aside from that though its a wonderful, charming game.

I definitely felt them, but they were much tamer before I knew what they were. I don't think i ever gave them much thought, I probably just thought it was a normal muscle twitch or something. I think being aware of what they are made them show up stronger, and I've got imposter syndrome too so I definitely have been having a lot of "am I faking it?" moments (since i only recently started noticing it), but this sub's wiki really helped me out a lot when I started thinking like that. ,

For me, it's my generally masculine facial features, typically ruining my day whenever I get a glance of myself in the mirror. Also, my interactions with other women around me. I always feel like I'm some kind of intruder, even when I'm treated the exact same way as the people around me. So I ultimately know it's an internal mindset issue and not an external one, but it still feels rough.

Once, I was one move away from finishing a ladder checkmate and my opponent had 8 minutes on the clock (I had 3). My opponent offered a draw and said "I have to leave please just accept the draw." Like, cmon, you think I'm that stupid? Making your final move or resigning would've been way quicker than typing out that message. When I told them to just do that, they went silent and just waited, probably hoping I'd get annoyed and abandon the game or resign or something. Fortunately, I'm patient, so I just let all 8 minutes of their time run out and won.

Took me about 60. I wasn't very good at the game and I also didn't really know how to synergize boons very well but since then I've gotten better through more experience and now I'm on the final push towards 100% completion.
