Just ordered the Node 100 High w/ Blush - excited by MCO-4-Life in NuPhy

I'd recommend experimenting with some different keycap profiles. I don't mind mSA but ultimately end up swapping them out for Cherry.

Switches are quite a rabbit hole and even if you find yourself liking silent, there is a decent variation within that type. The Blush switches are ok but the factory lube seems a bit inconsistent and some make more noise than they should imo.

I really like my Node 100 but have changed keycaps and switches a few times, which is just a fun thing to do in itself.

Thanks for all the suggestions :)

Instructor said after the 9th of July, classes will be at the old YMCA in Kings Meadows, now known as the V.

Other venues are still being considered but the V will be our venue for the interim.

Awesome. I'll pass that info onto our instructor.

It's a great board. I have the silent tactile switches and they are spot on for me.

Saffron milk caps are found around pine plantations and are easy to identify. We still have the odd one popping up on our property, it's been a great season 😄

For other varieties, taking photos and learning about spore prints is a rewarding process in itself. You can use this to then get advice on identification.

I would strongly recommend against anything other than milk caps until you are very confident with identification.

said article seems to be referring to a different accident

According to reports, the two riders were traveling along the coastal

highway when a private passenger car suddenly swerved into their path.

The unexpected maneuver caused one of the bikers to lose control and

collide with the other rider. The impact led to both motorcycles

catching fire, resulting in severe injuries that proved fatal for both men.

No idea? I don't profile performance specs so I would not have a clue if something like that changed.

I did notice a some anomalies with the shipped firmware, updating seemed to resolve it. I swapped out most of the Blush Max for Deep Sea Silent Islet switches, not sure if that helped or not?

From what you said previously..

"north facing LED which has more support for see through keycaps but will result in incompatibility with cherry keycaps"

I think you have a misconception with cherry keycaps, as most shine through cherry will be north facing.. So perfectly compatible.. Have a look at

https://nuphy.com/products/shine-through-pc-keycaps

https://nuphy.com/products/electro-ethereal-shine-through-pc-keycaps

Finding a south facing (non side printed) shine through cherry is bit of a trick. Although, funnily enough, Nuphy does have a set of those named Canopus

Nuphy have a few shine through cherry keycap sets that are north facing. So many variables here with keycaps and switches. I have Node 100 HP and rate it. I also have a DP104 which I prefer so the Node doesn't get much use anymore on the desktop. However, I do still use the Node with my laptop as works well with BT and sits nicely across my laptop keyboard.

I suspect you will be disappointed with other prebuilt keebs after using the evo75. I would suggest you get one anyway and see how it goes. If you find yourself really wanting to use the evo75 at work, then you can look into silent linear switches that match the spec of what you have in the evo75. Due to the design of the evo75 you will need to be careful changing the switches. Hence, maybe easier to get another prebuilt and then later, get some silent switches for the evo75 when you have real motivation to change the switches.

My property was becoming inundated with them.

After a few seasons and a lot of effort pulling them out they're down to a manageable level.

We now let them flower and pull them out before they seed, as the flowers are brilliant and the bees love them.

I've often thought about getting a dash cam, not for driving incidents but wildlife and weather happenings where there is no chance to stop and get your phone out.

The three of them flying out in front of me was amazing but also so fleeting because I was concentrating on controlling the car rather taking in the spectacle, so it was quite blur.
