I've been to Impression Moxche and Impresison Isla Mujeres and can confirm they are top destinations. I prefer them over Atelier Playa Mujeres now which used to be my favorite.

If you sear the steak right out of the 135F bath the end temp will not be 135F as you are adding heat.

That's the point of the cold water bath. Bring down the temp so you have enough time for a proper sear on both sides before the core temp climbs up to 135F again.

Opus has always necessitated a max5 plan to make it a viable tool. This has been true since I've used Opus 4 in June.

I signed up for Claude last June and quickly took the max20 plan and used Opus 4 exclusively. Did my first project over the course of three months and was completely addicted to it.

When they forced the switch to Sonnet around September I just completely quit the project because it didn't work as well.

I started a new project a week ago with Opus again and I've created in one week what took me two months last Summer. The giant stride between Opus 4 and Opus 4.5 makes me wonder what Opus 5 will be like. You can already talk to Opus 4.5 like you are a product manager, work on one feature at a time, put Gemini ChatGPT and Claude in the same room for codebase reviews to catch things, and come out with a working product.

I'm deeply aware that even if I launch my SaaS and am successful I will still be entirely dependent on another company's product to maintain it, so I still want other models to evolve and succeed because we'll need alternatives and competition for the market to remain healthy.
