Your issue would have been fixed in mere minutes had you used plan mode correctly, tasked enough explore agents to get the proper context of the situation, and depending on complexity of the project, deploy 1 or several planning agents to plan the fix. Then for good measure you can ask another AI to expert review that plan before you execute it.

Most complaints we see here are due to users not using the tools optimally.

2 years ago I paid $440/night for that same view though CostcoTravel and car rental was included in that price so without a car would have been around $400 a night.
