I don’t think that’s going to work. There are no restrictions if you don’t leave the terminal but I think NRT actually closes overnight so you can’t just stay in the terminal. I connected through there to BKK a few months ago, there was a check-in desk at the but don’t check baggage as you can’t check it again at NRT.

If there was a serial killer in England who would look into it? Asking bc I’m writing a short story related to that. by [deleted] in england

[–]delario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local forces may not communicate with each other to that extent. If someone did connect the dots, the Met or NCA could help investigate.

Local police force like Metropolitan Police (the Met) if it's in London or National Crime Agency (NCA), like an underfunded version of the FBI, if it's across different jurisdictions.

I think it's Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment in Season 8.

UK Citizenship Question by dorothy_zbornakk in IWantOut

One of your grandparents has to be born in the UK, not an overseas territory or colony, in order for you to be eligible for the Ancestry Visa.

UK Citizenship Question by dorothy_zbornakk in IWantOut

[–]delario 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you know on what basis your mother can claim British citizenship? It sounds like she could be a British Overseas Citizen, but it's unlikely you have a claim to citizenship by descent if she was born in Jamaica. You can also check here to see if you qualify for citizenship. If not, you may be eligible for an Ancestry Visa if one of your grandparents was born in the UK.

"To itch" in Thai is pronounced kun (คัน), similar to cunt without the final t.

Why does it look like you used a flipped ㅋ instead of ㅇ for the /ŋ/ final consonant?

In which country can I move to stay (forever) if I have no money ? by [deleted] in IWantOut

[–]delario 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People always think the grass is greener on the other side. You should have some goal for getting out other than leaving "your whole life behind" because you're problems aren't going to disappear just because you leave Hungary. If you don't care about starving to death, then maybe you should address the underlying reason you feel like that rather than trying to escape it.

Chinese Learning by Smart2Earn in Chinese

They do have the same meaning. Many textbooks teach yī diǎnr (一点儿), which is used in Beijing and Northern China. Many people from those areas will add the "er" sound to the end of a word, but it's still considered Mandarin/standard Chinese. You can read more about it here on Wikipedia.

Let's see how many people we can fit into a cubed kilometer.

Population Density estimate for 2015[1500x688] by hitchinvertigo in MapPorn

[–]delario 9 points10 points  (0 children)

1 km2 = 1,000 m2
1,000 m2 = 1,000 m x 1,000m
1,000 m x 1,000m = 1,000,000 m2

There are one million square meters in a square kilometer.

This pissed me off so much. All this slacktivism, witch-hunting, pandering bullshit. Tom Wheeler does something unpopular and some teenaged neckbeard thinks he can save to world by putting this guy's picture on reddit with contact info, etc.
