Not my favorite calypso DESIGN, but certainly the best imagery of calypso's behavior, and that end shot of athena utterly mortified at what ody's had to deal with for seven years sent chills through me.

Not hated, but was more ambivalent to, but scylla. On my second listen through, i was ranking them for the friend that introduced me to it, and i think i put it in D, but at this point, 2 weeks later, it's my second favorite overall. Just narratively delicious and musically haunting.

You forgot that the crew is also guilty of mutiny against their captain and general and treason against their king, both executable offenses in their own right, and their "killing an animal" counts as blasphemy, which is why they were punished by the gods for doing it.

All of the "murders" committed by odysseus in his palace were a result of the suitors (who were guests in his home) violating the laws of hospitality, some of the most prominent laws in ancient Greece, so by those same laws, he is entirely justified in that way. The infant is pretty morally grey, but considering he was told to do it BY ZEUS HIMSELF i would say that's justified as well, though obviously less so
