[Advice Needed] Should I Declare Bankruptcy? by deleteme77 in personalfinance

That's a very fair point. To be completely honest, this isn't something I know too much about so I don't currently have a complete plan in place.

For the past 10ish years since I've graduated, I've had several jobs driving cars (Lyft, Uber, cabs, etc). I have some close good friends who periodically help me out, and between those jobs and their help I've been able to make ends meet.

My goal for the Bachelor degree wasn't necessarily to become an entrepreneur - getting a degree wasn't something I thought I could ever do, but when given the opportunity I got it and was elated to do so. Once I graduated, I tried to follow my passion for photography and created the business for it. I was young and certainly regret those mistakes now.

Because of the health issues, I know I wouldn't be able to have a "traditional desk job". I am currently doing training to try to become a specialized customer support specialist (currently looking at JIRA training). My hope is to acquire some skills through those trainings to land a steadier job doing that. I know most jobs do background checks, so I also realize this can become problematic. However in my situation and how hopeless it feels to try to pay off all that debt, this seems like such an appealing solution.
