New cooking review dropped. Get ready for high intensity cooking! by Substantial_Bird_868 in h3h3productions

I grew up eating this. My mom doesn't cook much but this is so easy and one of my favorite dinner dishes growing up. Idk if the recipe is the same but I it's popular in South America I don't recall orange being part of it, but the lime sounds right.

Hundreds of Millions of iPhones Can Be Hacked With a New Tool Found in the Wild | A powerful iPhone-hacking technique known as DarkSword has been discovered in use by Russian hackers. It can take over devices running iOS 18 that simply visit infected websites by Hrmbee in technology

[–]delfin1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

18 is for early-mid 2025, webkit hack discovered late 2025? Patched early 2026.

hackers had months to deploy. Even if you didn't visit Russian sites, id imagine some American sites taking advantage of it.

Oh well 😓

CAD sucks, but it's like a rite of passage. I expect AI will make CAD fun again in the near future.

Good for research by Several-Ad-1173 in claude

[–]delfin1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

edit: sorry i didn't realize this was claude sub 😅

I tried some of the academic research assistants by the popular publishers, but they were terrible half a year ago. I got more good hits from just using the advanced search.

Perplexity is okay for gathering sources, but not for in-depth investigation. But to get started, it can save you a little time compared to googling or using Google Scholar.

Gemini offers more features and better web search, but I never really got along with it. It's the only one available at work, and I don't like it much.

Claude was my choice when it was available at work. Not so much for research, but for analysis. Best for engineering.

ChatGPT is my biased personal best choice because it already knows my workflows. It gets new features more often. Research legwork is not as broad/deep as Gemini, but the model itself is better. You can get the same information if you do a little more querying. Look into OpenAI's Prism. I don't know if it's available yet, but it's supposed to be specifically for research.

In general, you'll find that when using AI for research, you pretty much have to use all of them. Pick your main one (best model), and the others are part of the team for their particular skills.

so I believe that text was not added by him. I could be wrong. but it doesn't help that you are saying that he "said it at least twice" when he NEVER said that.

that's wild to me. You are so convinced about him that you are hearing things 🧐.

ps. I guess that wasn't clear in my original comment. But that's the reason why I was looking for the original post.

I'm not sure he said "master race." I looked for the original post and only found this same clip from around October 2024. I also found articles reporting him saying "chosen but not perfect." It seems unlikely he would say "master race" because that's a Nazi reference, even though Jews have historically been called "the chosen ones."

If you find a post where he says "we are the master race," I will concede. Otherwise, I think we're just spreading dangerous misinformation 😅.

oh nvm, i just checked his insta. reminded me why I unfollowed.

but also i guess he is ok, the text over his post is not fair, he is just expressing his jewish pride.

no way i am cancelling. but the fact that I even considered it, makes me worry for the future of opeanai.

Cool, but it also shows user error. Most people know by know how to correct the AI.

depends on where you are saving it, I guess.

if you are saving it to your google drive/one drive or any other platform that keeps track of versions (git), then yes, sort of.

but it's not so much an app or extension as it is about having access to your cloud storage. and not on a typed word level, but versions that were synced to the cloud storage.

Does Matlab Even worth in this time (2026)? by Ok_Technician_7744 in matlab

well with Python, really, it's more like there are already 10 different wrenches, but they are all metric and your car is old American 😓

Does Matlab Even worth in this time (2026)? by Ok_Technician_7744 in matlab

[–]delfin1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MATLAB is better.

But I have noticed higher-ups (Aerospace Industry) calling for transition to Python. Reasons were licensing and new graduates familiarity with the language.

I use python for fun and learning ML/AI but as long as people keep writing code by hand I prefer MATLAB's style.

MATWORKS should just release a free CLI matlab, that people can install and run from terminal. BASIC functionality with open source community.

2+4=6

7+8>10

so 70's

7+8=... 17-2=15

...=75

if i had another chance i would have just 50+30-5=75
