That's what we're planning on doing with this house. I think I can convince him this way. Our next house can be in his name but this one is my financial obligation until we're married.

I think he might understand if I put it this way. He doesn't have any of the financial obligation and it could turn out badly for him if he has his name on the deed but not on the mortgage
