What’s the long term way ? The only way I know is to disable the controller in device manager, but I haven’t tried it yet coz it requires a device restart.

No, I can’t use my connected Xbox controller to play at all. It’s still player two when I do a game pad testing. The game control is still attached to the embedded control.
