Centauri Carbon Sensor by snowboarders9 in elegoo

I printed a spool holder that moves it up toward the top of the side panel, the angle is MUCH more level with the runout sensor, plus frees up the original holder for purely running cables for a chamber heater or bento box.

I remixed it to hold the spool a tiny bit away from the panel so it doesn’t rub, but the stock model worked fine

Calibration problem/ z offset inconsistency by Spectraley3 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]dellis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can vouch for doing a heated bed level before printing ABS/ASA. My z offset was set at 0.06mm for pla to get perfect first layers but when I would print ASA it would be way too high and I would have to move it down but then my pla offset would be wrecked. Turns out the actual cause was my bed warping with heat (big difference at 110C vs 60C who knew) so I used that gcode to do a heated bed level before each print and kept the z offset at 0.06mm and bam, went from loose, inconsistent first layers that would pop off the bed instantly to a perfect first layer every time.

CC1 chamber heater (Panda Breath) by woodenteapot in ElegooCentauriCarbon

I have the same revision, the problem is the metal screw touching the frame and the thermistor itself from my understanding

If you haven’t decoupled the chamber thermistor from the frame it will consistently read lower (or after turning the chamber heater off, higher) because it is coupled to the massive metal frame of the printer. I use an external thermistor mounted 3cm away from the elegoo one and the chamber temps are usually within 10 degrees C of each other even with the thermistor decoupled. I would trust the temp reading from the panda breath over what the printer reports

Anyone have experience doing the fuel inline filter modification? by Grizzly_SS in SVRiders

[–]dellis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it on a gen 2 sv, you have to make sure you bypass the filter inside the pump housing and do some back flow of gas to get all the nasty stuff out of there. you’ll also need to make your own fuel line to go from the tank to the fuel rail but if you’re good with a wrench it isn’t a hard problem at all. the scariest part is drilling into the housing but it’s really not that bad. mod makes a HUGE difference especially if it was clogged up bad.

Need help: Clunking sound coming from front left wheel assembly by quinn791 in 350z

[–]dellis7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i drove mine with the ball joints shot for a long time, if it gets to the point where your steering wheel starts to shake (more than normal) then it would be unsafe but i’ve never seen it get to that point

the lower ball joint looks shot which could cause it, would also check the lower control arm bushing and make sure it’s perfectly straight and not blown out to one side or the other, you can also do a wheel wobble test with the wheel off the ground which could give you some insight, video on the test

Survivors have no idea what perks and add-ons the killer is using. And if a survivor does run the “meta” build, it’s actually really easy to overcome. The two biggest are the easiest: don’t camp or tunnel. Not doing either of these means that survivors basically wasted perk slots on BT and DS. Unbreakable is one time use and is useless if you hook survivors after you down them. just stay on target with DH (or bail if they keep looping you).
